IPTVLOAD on Windows PC & Mac

A laptop makes a fine second TV for the office, dorm or garage. About five minutes, start to finish.

Before you start

You need an IPTVLOAD subscription or the free 24-hour IPTV trial. Your email contains an M3U link and Xtream Codes (server URL, username, password), or a portal URL for MAG boxes.

Setup: Windows PC & Mac

  1. Install a playerIPTV Smarters Pro (Windows and Mac), VLC, or MyIPTV Player from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Add the IPTVLOAD playlistSmarters: Xtream Codes login. VLC: Media → Open Network Stream → paste the M3U URL.
  3. Open the channel listVLC lists channels in the playlist panel (Ctrl+L / Cmd+L). Smarters gives you guide and VOD.
  4. Connect a TVHDMI, AirPlay (Mac) or Miracast (Windows).
  5. Pin the appAdd it to Start or the Dock.

PC / Mac questions

Does VLC show the guide?

No — VLC plays channels but has no EPG. Use IPTV Smarters Pro for the guide and movies.

Minimum spec?

Any Windows or Mac from the last eight years handles Full HD; 4K wants a modern GPU.
